Sintra & Cascais Tour

Embark in a private sightseeing tour of historic Sintra and its stunning surroundings. Stop to see important sites along the way and enjoy exploring places not included on typical tourist routes.

You’ll have plenty of time on this full-day trip to take in all the spots of historic importance and admire views of the area’s natural splendour.

You can opt to visit one of the two lesser-known monuments of Sintra:

• The National Queluz Palace, or the Natural Monserrate Palace.
• Two of the lesser-known and “forgotten” palaces of Sintra, away from the overcrowded Pena Palace.

After seeing the highlights of Sintra we will drive through the National Park of Sintra to the coastline. There we will visit the western-most point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca, and before returning to Lisbon, we will pass by the coastal village of Cascais.

We do not visit the National Palace of Pena, neither is it an option.

• Pickup and drop-off at a meeting point in central Lisbon;
• Tickets to visit one of the chosen National Palaces (Queluz or Monserrate);
• Transportation by air-conditioned car or van;
• Private tour/guide, it will be just you and your guide;
• Guide will accompany you inside the monuments and locations for historic explanations and anecdotes;
• You have the option to adapt your day with us, in case you want to change something.

• Lunch and any other items not mentioned in the description;
• We do not go and visit the National Palace of Sintra.

• Be sure to bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a camera.
• If you are on a shore excursion from the cruise port, the tour times are flexible;
• We do not visit the National Palace of Pena, neither is it an option;
• National monuments close on public holidays and special occasions (without notice);
• The tour is flexible in terms of start time, length of stay at each site, and modifications to the suggested itinerary.
